MINUTES OF EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF RICHARDS CASTLE (SHROPSHIRE) PARISH COUNCIL HELD AT 7.30PM ON TUESDAY 5 SEPTEMBER 2023 AT THE VILLAGE HALL

22/38 Ward Councillor Report
Ward Cllr. V Parry provided an update on the sink hole off the B4361 by Moor Park and reported that a request has been made for 23/02851/FUL Ludlow Touring & Holiday Home Park to be considered by planning committee.

22/40 Planning
APPEAL Re: 22/04991/FUL and 22/04992/LBC Woodcroft Farm, Richards Castle. Conversion and extension of redundant barn to holiday letting accommodation (modification to previously approved 19/03669/FUL to allow for changes in fenestration and an increase in length). The parish council noted the Decision Notice dated 18 January 2023 by Shropshire Council. It was agreed to support fully the reasons for refusal as set out by the planning authority. For this reason, the comments made on the planning application by the parish council in December 2022 are withdrawn.
23/03539/LBC 16 Overton Ludlow Shropshire SY8 4DY. Erection of extension to rear of dwelling, incorporating garden room and utility/toilet. The application for listed building consent was supported.
